Extension features

One-click extraction

Highlight a conversation thread in Slack, Gmail, or Discord and click Extract. The extension sends the content to the Extraktr engine and returns structured results in a popup.

Same engine, same output

The extension uses the exact same backend as the web app. Tasks, decisions, risks, and summaries are identical whether you use the extension or extraktr.com/extract.

No data leaves your browser until you click

The extension only activates when you explicitly trigger extraction. It does not read, scan, or transmit page content in the background.

Works where you already are

Extract from Slack threads, Gmail chains, and Discord channels without switching tabs or copying text manually.

How it works

1

Install from Chrome Web Store

Click the button above to add the Extraktr extension to your browser. It takes less than 10 seconds.

2

Navigate to a conversation

Open a Slack thread, Gmail chain, or Discord channel in your browser.

3

Click Extract

The extension captures the conversation and sends it to the Extraktr engine. Structured results appear in a popup — tasks, decisions, risks, and a summary.

Supported platforms

Extraction runs only on the sites below. Content scripts are limited to these origins; the extension does not read other websites.

Slack

Threads at https://app.slack.com

Gmail

Privacy, terms, and support

Extraktr never reads your data—you choose what is processed.

Conversation text is sent to Extraktr only when you open the extension and choose Extract on a supported page. Processing uses the same backend as extraktr.com/extract. When you are signed in at extraktr.com, the extension can use your session cookies on our domains to call the API as you.
